Seven local sports clubs across Macedon are receiving a grant from the state government to help increase opportunities for women and girls in the community.

Member for Macedon Mary-Anne Thomas last week congratulated the following clubs:

Lancefield Football Netball Club, Daylesford Hepburn United Soccer Club, Daylesford Martial Arts Tang Soo Tao, Macedon Ranges Tennis Association, Trentham Golf Club, Woodend Golf Club and the Woodend Tennis Club for securing funding in the 2023-24 Change Our Game Community Activation Grants Program. 

The program offers grants of up to $10,000 to eligible organisations to provide more opportunities for women and girls to take part in community sport.
