Panel speakers, Amanda Jean, Jackie Gorring and Helen Kaptein, will talk about Maryborough’s rich textile history at the Central Goldfields Art Gallery, Maryborough on Wednesday, August 20 from 10.30am to noon.
Amanda Jean is a licensed architect who specialises in cultural heritage and building conservation focusing on the Central Goldfields of Victoria, Jackie Gorring is a Central Victorian artist and was highly commended for her art quilt (Bunny quilt) in the Golden Textures Contemporary Art Quilt Award 2025, while Helen Kaptein is the gallery’s coordinator.
