Late last month – Friday March 31, Hepburn Shire Council raised the trans flag in Daylesford in recognition of Trans Day of Visibility.

The day recognises and celebrates trans and gender diverse people and their important contribution to our community.

In a message from the Mayor the council reiterated its commitment to ensuring our community is a place where trans and gender diverse people feel safe and welcome. We also reaffirmed our strong stance against violence, including against the rainbow community.
