They’re armed, “dangerous” and said to be headed to The Palais, Hepburn Springs for an April 1 evening showdown.

The Ukulele Death Squad (UDS) have grown bigger and better since their 2017 inception, bringing a new sense of anarchy to the humble ukulele.

The Squad bring a frenetic energy to the uke with their own flamenco, RnB and folk style and since 2019 they’ve been joined by some additional performers further enhancing the thumping rhythms, outrageous solos and sensual sax for which they’ve gained a strong following.

The Adelaide Fringe Award winning and critically acclaimed act have sold out show after show and those who make the Palais evening gig coming up Saturday April 1 are advised to “expect the unexpected and throw out everything you thought you knew about the uke”.
