A leading senior constable from Western Region has been charged following an internal investigation, police have reported in recent days.

A leading senior constable from Western Region has been charged following an internal investigation, police have reported in recent days.

The 65-year-old man has been charged with two counts of false imprisonment and three counts of common law assault.

The charges relate to an alleged incident while on-duty in March 2024.

He will appear before a magistrates’ court at a later date.
