Xani Kolac is a violinist, composer, and improviser redefining what the electric violin can do in contemporary and improvised music.

She has spent over a decade pushing the boundaries of her instrument with her unique sound shaped by influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix and Stuff Smith to art pop pioneers Camille and Bjork, alongside her deep roots in jazz and improvisation.
With local support act The Funky Donkeys, featuring cellist Inga Foerster and bassist Bug Melville, Xani will play at the Bullarto Hall on Saturday, July 11 from 6.30pm to 9pm.
The bar will be open and the heaters will be on!
Doors open at 6:30pm, The Funky Donkeys start at 7pm with Xani playing from 7.30pm.
