The Daylesford Agricultural Show, held at Victoria Park on Saturday, November 28, is more than a showcase of prize-winning livestock, horsemanship, fresh produce, crafts, art and photography.
It is a celebration of the people, creativity and community spirit that make the region unique.
Under the shade sail beside the Hall of Flowers, visitors can enjoy an exciting line-up of musicians, singers and community groups from 10am through to the close of the show.
Bring your friends, grab something delicious from the nearby food vendors, relax in the shaded entertainment area and enjoy a day of outstanding local talent.
Audiences will be treated to performances from much-loved community choirs Honeytones and Sweet Justice, whose diverse repertoire and beautiful harmonies are always crowd-pleasers. The ever-popular Cool Country Ukes Band will also perform, combining musical talent with plenty of fun and energy.
Adding to the program, singer-songwriter Melody Kin, will share songs from her recently released CD, while students from Daylesford College will showcase their musical passion and abilities. The day concludes with a performance by the Daylesford Brass Band, a long-time audience favourite renowned for its broad repertoire spanning many musical styles and genres.
